One Click Social Bookmarking – I’m Automating those tedious submissions.

by Tracey on December 11, 2008

I’m following the ‘post and ping’ social bookmarking, web 2.0 style marketing, recommended by Howie Schwartz but after spending a couple of hours bookmarking and pinging my first couple of articlea I decided that web 2.0 marketing is a great big pain in the ass.

So this morning I set about finding an easier solution for bookmarking my posts and articles. What I was hoping for was a one-click solution. Isn’t that what the web is famous for … solutions in one easy click?

After a little bit of digging I found a perfect network automation solution at Onlywire

Onlywire is a social bookmarking tool, a lot like Socializer, only a bizillion times better becuase, in one click, Onlywire allows you to submit your bookmark to 20 sites all at once. That number is only likely to increase as the Onlywire team add more and more social bookmarking to their list. Download and install the Firefox Onlywire plugin and it gets even better.

So with one click I can post to sites like Twitter, Furl, Diigo, Technorati, Facebook and many more.

The down side … it’s not free, but at $2.99, it’s well worth paying when you consider that tedious hours logging in an out of 20 different social bookmarking sites is now a thing of the past.

Guess what I’m about to do now? Yep, one click bookmarking for all the364project’s posts.
